A Palestinian human rights center said on Sunday, November 6, 2022, that the Israeli occupation forces are “indifferently shooting at Palestinians and carrying out killings that amount to field executions outside the law.”
This came in a statement issued by the Palestinian Center for Human Rights in response to the killing of Palestinian youth on Saturday evening, by Israeli bullets, in the center of the West Bank.
The center added that “the crime of killing a Palestinian boy and wounding another after they were exposed to direct fire from the Israeli occupation forces east of Ramallah demonstrates the leniency of the occupation forces in the instructions to shoot towards the Palestinians.”
It stressed that “what happened is a new crime of field killings committed by the occupation forces without any justification, a pattern that has been constantly repeated in recent weeks.”
The Center called on the international community to take immediate action to “stop the crimes of the occupation and the double standards in the application of international law.”
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced, on Saturday evening, through a statement, “The death of the young man, Musab Mohammad Nofal, 18 years old, as a result of severe wounds he sustained by the Israeli occupation forces shooting at him near the town of Sinjel in Ramallah governorate in the central West Bank.”
