The Palestinian detainee Bakr Abu Obeid, 41, from occupied Tulkarm, entered Monday, January 23, 2023 his 21st year inside the Israeli occupation prisons.
The Palestinian Prisoners Club stated in a press statement that the Palestinian prisoner Abu Obeid was detained in 2003, and was subjected to a harsh and long investigation. He was sentenced to life imprisonment twice.
Abu Obeid successfully managed to obtain his bachelor’s and master’s degrees while detained. Note that he lost his father during his detention and the occupation prevented him from saying the last goodbye.
The prisoner Abu Obeid suffers from several health problems, and urgently needs to undergo medical examinations while the occupation prison administration keeps procrastinating.
