PA Security Forces Kill Palestinian Citizen, Injure Others in Nablus

M.Y | DOP -

Palestinian Authority security forces killed a Palestinian man during a protest after two freedom fighters were arrested by PA forces at Israeli request in the West Bank city of Nablus in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The man was named as 53-year-old Firas Yaish. According to Palestinian reports he was a bystander and was shot in the head.

The reports said PA security forces opened fire toward protestors demonstrating against the arrest operation. Some of the protestors had reportedly set fire to tires and fired into the air.

The detained men were Musab Shtayyeh and Mohammad Tabila, Palestinian freedom fighters in the West Bank.

The two were said to have been top targets by the Israeli occupation in the wake of the killing of Ibrahim Nabulsi by Israeli occupation forces during an invasion last month.
