Israeli occupation forces arrested on Saturday evening 12 citizens during their participation in an anti-settlement march near the Tayaseer checkpoint, east of Tubas.
Clashes erupted between the civilians and the Israeli occupation forces after a march was launched towards the checkpoint in rejection of settlements and land confiscation.
Israeli occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at the demonstrators who raised the Palestinian flags and threw stones at the soldiers.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces arrested 12 men while they were participating in the march.
