Jerusalem sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces deployed military cavalry teams to pursue the youths, and used wastewater to suppress the citizens near the Amud Gate in occupied Jerusalem.
For the sixth consecutive day, the Israeli occupation forces continued to prevent residents and young men from sitting and gathering in the square and amphitheater of Bab al-Amud in the Old Jerusalem.

Thousands of worshipers performed Tarawih prayers at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, coinciding with the strict measures of the occupation and the closure of the Bab al-Amud area.
Many deportees from Al-Aqsa Mosque also performed Isha and Tarawih prayers in the Bab al-Asbat area in the Old City of Jerusalem.
The Bab al-Amoud Square has witnessed nightly clashes with the occupation forces since the beginning of the month of Ramadan, during which a number of citizens were injured, while the occupation soldiers attacked others, and arrested a number of Jerusalemites.
The Israeli occupation seeks to impose a new reality in the Al-Aqsa Mosque, especially in the month of Ramadan, by preventing citizens from being in it and restricting themselves to prayer only, and evacuating it in order to cut off the bond between the mosque and the Palestinians.
