The Israeli occupation intelligence and police today, Tuesday morning, prevented a consultative meeting about the legislative elections in a hotel in occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources stated that the Israeli occupation police and intelligence forces surrounded the vicinity of the "Ambassador" Hotel in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem, and prevented the holding of the consultative meeting called by civil society institutions, which was under the slogan "International law guarantees us the right to vote."
It added that the Israeli occupation forces arrested the Director of the Jerusalem District Office, Adel Abu Zneid, and the Director of the Ambassadors Hotel, Sami Abu Dayya.
It also added that , the Israeli intelligence summoned Ahed Al-Rishq, Awad Al-Salaymeh, Ghada Abu Rabee ', and director of the Prisoners' Club in Jerusalem, Nasir Qus for investigation.
It indicated that the Israeli occupation forces detained the candidate for the "Fatah" list, lawyer Samer Maliha, for about an hour, then released him after photocopying his identity card.
