Days of Palestine – Jerusalem
Hundreds of Jewish settlers today, Wednesday (3/31), stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the escort of Israeli police.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem said, in a brief statement, that 309 settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa courtyards since the morning hours from the Al-Mughrabi Gate side, and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards before they left Bab Al-Silsila.
The Israeli settlement groups have called for the implementation of large-scale raids of the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the occasion of the Jewish Passover, which began Sunday and lasts a week.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is witnessing daily (except for Friday and Saturday) incursions and violations by settlers and the occupation police, and on two shifts in the morning and evening.
