The Qatari government criticized the brutality of the Israeli occupation forces in dealing with Palestinian children.

Assistant Foreign Minister Lolwah Alkhater published a video of the forcible arrest of five children in the Al-Rikz gathering area in Yatta, south of Hebron.

She commented, "Not very surprised by how Israeli Occupation is treating kids! They know that the duplicity of their international sponsors will let them get away, Yet Again."

The incident occurred last week and was documented by the Israeli human rights organization B'Tselem.

The Israeli occupation soldiers abuse the children only, accusing them of having entered a settlement built on Palestinian land in order to collect wild vegetables.

The Palestinian Authority stated that at the end of the year 2020, the number of prisoners in the occupation prisons reached 4,400, including 40 women and 170 children.

During the year, the Israeli occupation forces arrest many times this number of children, but they remove them after a while.
