Days of Palestine – Damascus

25 Palestinian families living in Al-Bal camp in northern Syria face dire humanitarian conditions, while their suffering worsens day after day as a result of their miserable living and economic conditions.

The Working Group for Palestinians of Syria said that the camp residents also suffer from poor services and the lack and scarcity of humanitarian aid provided by relief organizations.

It indicated that the displaced people in the camp complain of many problems, including the camp's distance from the city center, the lack of food for the displaced families, the lack of electricity, and the lack of shops to buy their needs or means of heating.

For their part, the displaced Palestinian families in the camp appealed to international organizations and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) to provide them with a helping hand and work to alleviate their suffering in camps that lack the basics of life.

Al-Bal camp is located north of the city of Suran in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and was established in 2018 and received the displaced from Eastern Ghouta. It contains nearly 600 tents with the support of the Turkish “AFAD” organization and the Turkish Red Crescent.
