Days of Palestine – Nablus

Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation forces demolished the tents of five families in Khirbet Tana, a small village to the east of Nablus, according to local sources.

Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in northern West Bank, said that Israeli troops raided the area and demolished the tents and seized them, indicating that the demolition process is still continuing and that the occupation forces closed the area and prevented entry and exit to it.

He indicated that the tents belong to five families: Hakam Zuhdi Nasasrah, Marwan Khattaba, Hamdi Melitat, Ibrahim Abdel Qader Hanani, and Bassam Nasasrah.

The village has been demolished multiple times by the Israeli authorities, as the Israeli Civil Administration does not recognize it as a village worth planning, therefore prohibiting construction there.

The community is not connected to water or electricity and its residents use two local springs for water.
