Days of Palestine – Gaza
The Israel occupation's navy today opened fire on unarmed Palestinian fishermen as they were sailing off the coast of Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that the occupation navy boats fired and opened water hoses at the fishermen's boats, about six nautical miles, off the sea of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, without any injuries among the fishermen.
The occupation boats, with bullets and sound bombs, also targeted fishermen's boats in the Al-Sudania region, which is three nautical miles northwest of Gaza City, and opened water hoses on the fishermen, and forced them to return to the shore.
Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip and its shores have been reported routinely over the past several years, since Israel imposed an air, land, and sea blockade in 2007, against the 2-million residents of the Gaza Strip.
