The Israeli occupation forces arrested, this evening, Sunday, a Palestinian boy from the town of Al-Issawiya in occupied Jerusalem, according to local sources.
Local sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces arrested the 17-year-old boy, Muhammad Musa Ubaid, near the eastern entrance to the town, and the IOF summoned him by phone before heading to meet them, and then arrest him.
Issawiya is exposed to daily incursions by the occupation forces, who deliberately arrest the town’s young men and women, and break into homes and search them in an attempt to terrorize the citizens and discourage them from confronting their incursions and practices.
Issawiya and Jerusalem city are subjected to a systematic campaign of violations of repression and abuse, and Palestinians are deprived of urban expansion in their lands, in addition to forcing dozens of citizens to self-demolish their homes, or by the occupation mechanisms.
Since1967, large areas of land in Issawiya have been confiscated in favor of settlement expansion, amounting to 7,000 dunams, or 70% of its lands that have been isolated from the town center by the Apartheid Wall.
