A number of Palestinian farmers and shepherds were injured today, after Israeli settlers attack them, under the protection of the Israeli occupation army, in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the West Bank.
The coordinator of the Popular Committees Against the Wall and Settlement Activity in South Hebron, Ratib al-Jabour, stated that a number of settlers of Mitzpe Yair and Susiya, who are settled on Palestinians' lands east of Yatta town, have attacked shepherds and unarmed farmers from the families of Jabarin, al-Najjar and al-Harini near Khirbat Sha'b al-Butm and Susiya the, causing injuries to them.
Jabour called on human rights and international bodies to put an end to settlers' attacks, which aim to force citizens to leave their homes and lands in order to steal them for the benefit of settlements.
