The advisor to the Minister of Health, Fathi Abu Warda, said that the percentage of bed occupancy in hospitals in the Gaza Strip has reached 100%, warning of the deterioration of the epidemiological situation in the Strip.
Abu Warda said in an interview with "Voice of Palestine" radio on Thursday, that the percentage of critical injuries in the Gaza Strip amounted to more than 20%, and that most of them suffer from severe infections in the lungs.
On the failure of the central laboratory to work, Abu Warda confirmed that the Ministry of Health has provided the necessary laboratory tools to resume work, stressing the need for everyone to cooperate to get out of the current crisis.
