Days of Palestine – Gaza

Palestinian and pro- Palestine activists Wednesday have launched a Twitter storm demanding Twitter to be fair in its decisions and stop its policy of suspending the accounts that support the Palestinian cause.

The activists have tweeted under the hashtag #TwitterBlocksPalestine and invite all to take action with them and call for Twitter not to cooperate with 'Israel'.

Has Twitter stopped its policies against the Palestinian accounts? NO! It still continues its attack against any content that supports the Palestinian cause and it even suspends the new accounts.

Last week, the administration of Twitter suspended dozens of accounts that slammed the Israeli plan to annex the West Bank and demanded the International Criminal Court to investigate the crimes committed by 'Israel'.

The Israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs, according to Israeli media, censors the accounts that stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Thus, under Israeli pressure, these accounts were suspended in a way to stop any voice against Israel's illegal policy.

Such a step confirms that this giant platform, Twitter, is one of the tools that the Israeli authorities use to whitewash and cover up their actions that violate international law and principles.

Twitter suspended many of the Palestinians and pro-Palestinians accounts in a very short period as an attempt to whitewash the Israeli occupation crimes. #TwitterblocksPalestine pic.twitter.com/NTiUOCtjg1

As Twitter has complied with Israeli pressure and violates the freedom of expression, which is supposed to be guaranteed for all, this indicates that it gives the green light to 'Israel' to continue its plans.

However, the activists say that exposing the occupier's crimes is a right for all and Palestinians do nothing wrong when they express their suffering.

They also have asked Twitter not to follow the Israeli policies of silencing the truth and to support the Palestinian cause.

We ask Twitter not to be part of the terrorism practiced against the Palestinians, for it should support the truth and the Palestinian cause. #TwitterblocksPalestine pic.twitter.com/M2S1yzenvB

We demand Twitter to stop suspending the Palestinian accounts, and to stop silencing the Palestinian voices.#TwitterblocksPalestine pic.twitter.com/HGIFRDTTFU
