DayofPal—Israeli bulldozers continued land-clearing operations on Sunday in the village of Zububa, west of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, uprooting and destroying hundreds of olive trees.
Residents said the bulldozing targeted large areas of agricultural land owned by villagers, causing widespread damage to farmland.
The escalation comes amid ongoing settlement-related expansion and repeated attacks on Palestinian land and property in the area.
According to data from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli forces and settlers carried out 1,659 attacks in May alone, including 551 attributed to settlers.
As a result, settler attacks, with the support of the Israeli army, have led to the uprooting, destruction, and poisoning of 7,222 trees, including 3,317 olive trees.
These attacks were concentrated in Hebron, Ramallah and Al-Bireh, and Nablus, with thousands of trees, among them olive trees, reportedly damaged, uprooted, or poisoned, further impacting Palestinian agriculture and livelihoods.
