Days Of Palestine – Jerusalem
Thousands of Palestinian worshipers on Friday took to Al-Aqsa Mosque to perform the Friday prayer despite Israeli restrictions.
Local sources said that almost 50 thousand Palestinians from Jerusalem and 48 Occupied Lands performed Friday prayer in Al-Aqsa Mosque despite the severe restrictions imposed by the occupation on the entry of worshipers.
On the other hand, Thousands of Palestinians on Friday took to the mosques in Jerusalem and the West Bank to perform dawn prayers as part of the Great Fajr (dawn) Campaigns.
Following the prayers, the worshipers marched peacefully and chanted slogans vowing to protect al-Aqsa Mosque and other holy sites and confront the Israeli attacks.
Groups of volunteers offered help to the worshipers and distributed snacks and hot drinks.
As a protest step against the "deal of the century" and the ongoing Israeli attacks on mosques, the Palestinians initiated in November 2019 the Great Fajr Campaign, which draws thousands to "fajr" or dawn prayers, the first of five daily prayers in Islam.
