The Hamas Movement has called on the Palestinian people in the occupied territories to escalate their resistance of the Israeli occupation and engage in open-ended clashes with its forces in defense of the Aqsa Mosque.
In a statement, Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum denounced the Israeli occupation police’s persistence in assaulting Palestinian worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque and depriving them of performing their acts of worship with no harassment or restriction.
“This aggressive policy against our Palestinian people, their land and holy sites, and the desecration of the Aqsa Mosque — the first Qiblah and the third of the two holy Sanctuaries — is a continuation of the religious war and a provocation of the Arab and Muslim nations’ feelings,” the spokesman said.
