The Hamas Movement has described its participation in the Islamic Malaysian summit in Kuala Lumpur, which kicked off on Thursday morning as “a reflection of its openness in its relations with the countries of the Islamic world.”
In press remarks to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC), Hamas representative in Malaysia Muslem Amran said that his Movement’s participation in the conference also reflected the importance of the Palestinian cause and its centrality in the Islamic world.
Amran affirmed that the Hamas delegation would use the conference to deliver the message of Palestine, the Palestinian resistance and the Palestinian people’s just cause.
A high-level Hamas delegation led by Mousa Abu Marzouk arrived on Wednesday in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur to participate in the conference.
