Qatari envoy Mohamed al-Emadi has affirmed that his country’s current financial support for poor families and the power plant’s fuel supplies in the Gaza Strip will continue until March 2020.
In press remarks on Wednesday, Emadi said that Qatar was studying a Palestinian request to extend the Qatari grant for Gaza.
“Everything will continue in the first quarter of the next year for sure, and there is hope to renew it (the grant) continuously, God willing,” he said
“We are continuing to support the Gaza Strip, and today I handed over vehicles to the firefighting and civil defense in Gaza,” the Qatari official added.
He also asserted that his country would continue its medical support for Gaza and provide solutions to its electricity problem.
