Days Of Palestine – Jerusalem
The Israeli occupation's municipality on Tuesday demolished a Palestinian house in Silwan, a neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem, under the pretext it was built without a permit, according to the house owner.
Members of the Abbasi family said that staff from the municipality protected by security forces broke into their one-floor house in Silwan and forced the family to leave it before proceeding to demolish it.
Palestinians in Occupied Jerusalem say they are forced to build without a permit because getting one from the Israeli municipality that discriminates against them is an almost impossible task, particularly in Silwan, which is adjacent to the Old City of Jerusalem.
