Days Of Palestine – Gaza
A media campaign was launched on Thursday, 13th of June, to reject the comments made by the US ambassador to Israel, David Friedman who asks to annex parts of the West Bank to Israeli illegal settlements.
The Days Of Palestine's Team launched the "Twitter Storm" under the hashtags #NoToAnnexWestBank #ShutUpFriedman.
The campaign which used dozens of pro-Palestinian tweets and pictures aimed also at affirming that Palestine from the river to the sea is for Palestinians and that no one has the right to take actions against Palestinians or speak on behalf the Palestinians addressing their rights and borders.
Commenting on this campaign, Said Shoiab, the social media coordinator of Days of Palestine Team said, " Friedman's comments encourge Israel to continue its violations of international law against Palestinians especially that according to article 47 of the 4th Geneva Convention, annexation is specifically prohibited during occupation."
"We call human rights organizations and the US administration to reject Ambassador Friedman’s comments and stop the Israel’s illegal settlements, measures, and policies designed to ethnically cleanse the Palestinian existence." Shoaib added.
