A Malaysian NGO has filed a lawsuit with the International Criminal Court (ICC) accusing Israel of committing crimes against humanity in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The ICC prosecution panel is expected to finish analyzing data and evidence within several months before an indictment will be officially leveled against Israeli leaders, according to the Malaysian foundation MyAqsa.
Lawyer Azreel Ameen, head of MyAqsa’s legal committee responsible for bringing the prosecution against Israel, stated that the lawsuit is based on many international laws and resolutions that criminalize the confiscation of Palestinians lands and the establishment of settlements on usurped lands.
