Days Of Palestine [ Bethlehem ] – A Palestinian paramedic was killed and three young men suffered injuries on Wednesday morning when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired live ammunition during clashes in al-Deheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem.
Local sources reported that four young men, including a paramedic, suffered bullet injuries during skirmishes between young men and Israeli soldiers in al-Deheisheh camp.
Later, medical sources from the Palestinian Medical Relief Society affirmed that one of its young paramedics called Sajed Mezher, 17, suffered a serious bullet injury in his abdomen as he was providing medical help for other wounded citizens and died later in a local hospital.
For his part, head of the society Mustafa al-Barghouthi strongly denounced the killing of the paramedic and described what happened to him as a “vicious crime.”
