US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley pledges to the AIPAC Conference to make the international body puppet in the hands of Israel.
She seized the chance of speaking to AIPAC and attacked the Palestinians and severely criticised all UN resolutions that condemned Israeli violations and crimes against the Palestinians.
Haley said that she had gone to the UN and found it to be an absurd place. She recalled how “bizarre” it was for her, when she first listened to delegates “bashing Israel.”
“I knew they said it was bad, but until you hear it, and you see it, you just cannot comprehend how ridiculous it is,” she said.
“We do not have a greater friend than Israel,” she said, “The days of Israel-bashing are over. For anyone who says you can’t get anything done at the UN, they need to know there is a new sheriff in town.”
About what she would do at the UN, she said: “I amm not there to play games and what I wanted to make sure of is that the United States started leading again.”
How would she work, she said: “The Trump administration is putting everyone on notice [at the UN]. I wear heels, it is not for a fashion statement, it is because if I see something wrong we are gonna kick ’em every time.”
She also said that when UN Security Council Resolution 2,334 was approved in December 2016, its passage facilitated by the Obama administration’s failure to exercise a veto, “the entire country felt a kick in the gut. We had just done something that showed the United States at its weakest point ever.
“Never do we not have the backs of our friends. We do not have a greater friend than Israel. And to see that happen was not only embarrassing, it was hurtful.”
Nowadays, by contrast, she went on, “everyone at the United Nations is scared to talk to me about Resolution 2334. And I wanted them to know that, Look, that happened, but it will never happen again.”
Regarding the UN report which found that Israel had imposed an apartheid regime in Palestine, she said what happened.
“The first thing we do is we call the secretary general, and say, ‘This [report] is absolutely ridiculous. You have to pull it.’ The secretary general immediately pulled the report, and then the director has now resigned.”
