Speaking to Days of Palestine, one of the school teachers said that the Israeli occupation forces handed over a demolition order to the headmaster.
The teacher also said that the Israeli occupation forces also handed over 40 demolition orders to Palestinian families in the village, warning them to evacuate their homes as soon as possible.
Eid al-Jahalin, a witness, said that Israeli forces raided the area at dawn and notified the residents to evacuate their houses before February 23.
Israeli government and illegal Israeli Jewish settlers living in settlements around Khan al-Amar have been seeking to grab the land in order to expand the illegal settlements there.
The only school in the village was built in 2009 with the assistance of an Italian NGO, Vento Di Terra, using ecological methods including construction out of used tires.
