Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip -Palestinian woman was killed, man was wounded on Thursday afternoon in several Israeli airstrikes on several places across Gaza Strip.
Palestinian medical sources said that Zeineh La’moor, 54, was killed in an Israeli artillery shelling targeted her farm in Al-Fukhari Neighbourhood, east of southern Gaza city of Khan Younis.
Another man in his thirties from the same family was wounded in the same incident. The medical sources said that he sustained moderate wounds.
Earlier to the Israeli strikes, Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas military wing, fired mortar missiles Israeli tanks stormed farms in Al-Fukhari and carried out “engineering works.”
On Wednesday, Al-Qassam Brigades warned Israeli occupation forces it would not tolerate their daily invasions to Palestinian areas across the Gaza borders and attacking Palestinians and their properties.
Israeli army carried out several airstrikes and then withdrew its forces before dawn, leaving four Palestinian wounded.
In wake of this escalation, the reduced Israeli cabinet said it would hold a meeting to discuss the issue on Friday.
Meanwhile, Palestinian fighters in Gaza said they would not remain silent if the Israeli occupation carried out any attack against the Palestinians in Gaza.
