Days of Palestine, Jerusalem -Israeli occupation soldiers shot and wounded on Sunday 13-year-old Palestinian boy in East Jerusalem neighbourhood of Silwan.
Medical sources said that the boy was shot in the back of his head with a steal-coated-with-rubber bullet and arrived in Hadassah Hospital in the morning.
Eyewitnesses said that the boy was walking to his school when he was shot by the Israeli occupation forces opened fire at him.

The boy was identified as Hatim abu-Mayyalah. His father said that he left his home with his brother Ahmed heading to school.

He also said that his son told him he had been beaten by the Israeli soldiers, who shot him, while he was bleeding. “He has a deep wound in the head and needed stitches,” the father said, noting that the Israeli occupation forces sent him an investigation notice for his son.
Almost every day, the Israeli occupation forces shot tear gas and steel-coated-with-rubber bullets at Palestinians in Silwan and other neighbourhoods in Jerusalem’s Old City.
