Days of Palestine, Jerusalem –Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to revoke IDs of Palestinian Jerusalemites behind illegal Israeli Separation Wall.
Two weeks ago, Netanyahu proposed his plan to the reduced Israeli Ministerial Council, Israeli YnetNews website revealed.
The plan targets approximately 80,000 Palestinians in the refugee camps such as Shuafat, Kafr Aqab and Anata.
Israeli TV Channel Two reported that Netanyahu called for a special cabinet meeting to discuss the issue.
YnetNews reported Netanyahu saying: “There is no enforcement there, no law. We need to examine the possibility of cancelling their residency.

Channel Two reported him saying: “It is impossible for the situation to remain the same behind the barrier.”
Meanwhile, Netanyahu’s office said: “The Palestinians in the Arab neighbourhoods behind the barrier exploit the merits of Israeli residency status, but they do not carry out the duties needed from them [based on this residency].”
