DaysofPal – A Palestinian couple and their four children were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza City early Tuesday, as Israeli forces continued daily violations of the ceasefire agreement that has been in effect since October 10, 2025.
Local sources said Israeli warplanes targeted the al-Masri family’s home in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, killing Firas Ahmed al-Masri, his wife Salsabeel Mohammed Ali al-Masri, and their four children: Naeem, Faryal, Salma, and Amira.
Witnesses said Civil Defense crews struggled to reach the house because of a large fire triggered by the strike. Firefighters, assisted by Gaza Municipality crews, eventually brought the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading to neighboring homes.
Elsewhere in the Gaza Strip, Israeli occupation forces opened fire east of Khan Younis in the south, while artillery shelled the same area. A Palestinian man was wounded by Israeli gunfire near the Bir 19 junction in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis on Tuesday morning.
The attacks followed an Israeli drone strike the previous night on the first floor of Yemen Al-Saeed Hospital in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, which killed four Palestinians and wounded others.
Local sources identified the victims as Jameel Hammad Abu Shaqfa, his daughter Nour, Shireen Ismail Issa, and Nour Hamdi Matar.
Palestinian officials say Israeli occupation forces have continued to violate the ceasefire through airstrikes, artillery shelling, attacks on displacement sites, and demolitions within areas known as the “Yellow Line.” They also accuse Israel of maintaining restrictions on the movement of goods, humanitarian aid, and travel into and out of the Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 1,168 Palestinians have been killed and 3,798 injured since the ceasefire took effect, while 802 bodies have been recovered from areas previously inaccessible.
The ministry said the overall death toll since the start of Israel’s genocidal campaign on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,293 killed and 173,906 wounded.
