Palestinian medical sources said that the Israeli occupation forces shot dead the Palestinian Odai Masalmah, 24, while he was taking part in anti-Israeli protest in the Beit Awwa, west of Al-Khalil.

Doctors said that the Palestinian was likely shot by an Israeli sniper in the head, causing his immediate death.

Witnesses said that Masalmah was among the crowds of the protesters when he was shot dead, but the spokeswoman of the Israeli occupation army claimed he attempted to stab an Israeli army officer, causing him light injuries.

Masalmah’s death brings the total number of the Palestinians intentionally killed by the Israeli occupation forces since start of October to 47, when the ongoing tension was ignited.

Israeli occupation forces killed on Monday morning Palestinian civilians in West Bank city of Al-Khalil.

After the start of tension, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered his forces to shoot kill every “suspicious” Palestinian. He also gave his directions to his police to search every Palestinian without any reason.

A while later, a 50-year-old extremist Israeli settler assaulted Palestinian civilians and their cars with a thick baton.

Seeing him savagely assaulting civilians, a Palestinian driver, who has not been yet identified, ran over him, causing him severe injuries.

Witnesses said that the Palestinian driver fled the scene and the Israeli occupation forces said that are searching for him.

The settler was immediately evacuated from the area by an Israeli ambulance and rushed to an Israeli hospital. He was later on announced dead.
