Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli forces injured on Sunday at dawn 27 Palestinians, arrested 4 others in failure attempt to arrest fighter in West Bank city of Jenin.
Palestinian medical sources in Jenin told Days of Palestine that 27 Palestinians received medical treatment either in hospital or in the field.
Most of the wounded suffered suffocation problems because of heavy firing of tear gas, but some of them were wounded by metal-coated-with-rubber bullets or live bullets. “However, no one in serious conditions,” the sources said.
Eyewitnesses said that more than 20 armoured Israeli military vehicles stormed the Jenin and encircled the house of the Palestinian fighter Qais al-Sa’di, from Al-Qassam Brigades, attempting to arrest him.
The fighter fled the strict blockade, making the Israeli soldiers furious and feeling disappointed. Therefore, they hastily opened fire at the residents of the fighter’s house and threw tear gas canisters at the neighbours.
Informed sources said that the Israeli occupation arrested four Palestinians, including brother of the wanted fighter before lifting the four-hour blockade and leaving the house.
Intimidation Al-Aqsa Mosque
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces and Jewish settlers stormed several Palestinian villages across the West Bank and Jerusalem. Violence against Palestinians and their properties was reported in more than five places.
In Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Israeli occupation police banned Palestinian worshipers from entering inside to perform Al-Fajr Prayer. The Palestinians were obliged to pray in the street.
Meanwhile, the Israeli police escort a large number of extremist Israeli settlers into the Mosque and protected them as they were performing mythical Talmudic rituals inside the Islamic Mosque.
