Days of Palestine, West Bank –An Israeli settler shot on Saturday morning 6-year old Palestinian child near occupied West Bank city of Qalqiliya.
Eyewitnesses said that the Palestinian child Yousef al-Tabib was standing on the roadside when the settler stopped his car, shot the child in the stomach and fled away.
The child, from the small Palestinian village of Izbet At-Tabib in Area C and around six miles east of Qalqiliya, was rushed to Qalqiliya Hospital for treatment.
Palestinian medical sources told Days of Palestine that the little child suffered serious wounds and he needed more than seven blood units immediately upon his arrival to the hospital.
The occupied West Bank was rocked by settler reprisal attacks on Palestinians and their property on Thursday night and Friday after the death of two Israeli Jewish settlers near the illegal Israeli settlement of Itmar.
However, the killer’s identity has not been yet known. Sources said that they were likely killed by other Israelis on a criminal background.

Since the death of the settlers until Saturday morning, the Israeli occupation forces have been carrying out inspection and arrest campaign against Palestinian houses, mainly in Nablus.
They wounded during last night’s campaign ten Palestinians citizens and arrested eight others. They also caused much damage to Palestinian houses and property.
In July, Israeli Jewish settlers burned Palestinian home in Nablus, killing an 18-month-old Palestinian child and his parents.
According to the UN organisation, at least 324 acts of violence were carried out by Israeli settlers in 2014, over half of which resulted in injury.
Jewish Israeli settlers involved in such attacks always are not brought to courts. So that, this is considered by even Israeli human rights groups as an encouragement by the Israeli government to carry on their violations.
