Israeli forces wound Pal near Gaza border

Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip –Israeli occupation forces shot, wounded Palestinian teen east of Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza Strip on Friday.

Witnesses said that a Palestinian teenager was helping his family in their farm, which is close to the eastern border of the Strip from the side of the Israeli occupation.

The Israeli forces, without any reason, approached the farmers and shot several bullets in the air to scare them. Then, before leaving the area, they shot directly at the farmer, wounding the boy.

Medical sources said that the boy, identified as 14-year-old Mahir Shatat, was hit by a live fire in his cheek and was admitted to a local hospital.

Separately, Israeli forces opened fire Saturday morning on Palestinian farmers in the eastern areas, as well as the Palestinian fishermen in the sea, but no casualties have been reported.
