Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli Jewish settlers attempted on Monday to kidnap a Palestinian boy in the Jerusalem town of Hizma.

Witnesses and relatives identified the boy as Ahmad Nader Qa’qour and said he is an eight-year old boy.
Nader Qa’qour, Ahmad’s father, said that four Israeli settlers in a silver-coloured Mazda car tried to kidnap Ahmad from the main street.
“The settlers were driving their car on the right side, but changed their direction suddenly when they saw Ahmad crossing the road,” Nader said.

He continued: “When the settlers drove near Ahmad. They got closer and closer; therefore, I rushed towards him and put him between my arms and fled away.”
Regarding the car, Nader said: “The car headed to the illegal Israeli Jewish settlement of Neve Yaakov near Hizma.”
The incident comes just three days after Israeli settlers set ablaze a Palestinian home in the village of Duma near Nablus, burning a toddler to death and seriously injuring parents and four-year brother.
