Days of Palestine, Jerusalem –Israeli police shot Palestine man in Al-Tur Neighbourhood, East Jerusalem, prevented paramedics from evacuating him, leaving him bleeding to death.
The Palestinian man was identified as Imran abu-Dhain, 41, from the area of Jabal al-Mukabber in Jerusalem. Palestinian sources refuted Israeli claims that he planned to run over Israeli police officers.
An eyewitness told Days of Palestine that Abu-Dhaim was driving his Land Cruiser at the main crossroad of Al-Tur, when the Israeli occupation police opened fire at him.
“He accelerated car speed, took side of the street and wanted to cross the vehicles of the Israeli police which drove slowly,” the eyewitness said. “Then, the Israeli occupation police shot him causing him serious wounds.”
Israeli Police Spokesman Micky Rosenfeld claimed that the man tried to run over two police officers with his car.
The Israeli occupation forces sealed off the area, preventing locals from reaching the bleeding man with serious wounds.
Shortly, he died before the eyes of the Palestinian paramedics wanted to evacuate him, but prevented by the Israeli police.
