Days of Palestine, Al-Yarmouk –Clashes between ISIS militias and opposition fighters at the Palestinian refugee camp of Al-Yarmouk is still continuous.
Witnesses said that both sides are still stationed in their positions, but they reiterated that ISIS is controlling over 80 percent of the whole area of the Camp.
Al-Yarmouk, in the outskirts of the Syrian capital of Damascus, had hosted over 160,000 Palestinian refugees until before the start of the Syrian uprising in 2011.
The number of the refugees has sharply declined since then because of the clashes took place in the Camp. The Assad regime has been imposing a strict siege on the Camp for more than 600 days.
Around 200 Refugees have starved to death because of the severe shortage of food, water and medical equipment.
On last Wednesday, ISIS and Al-Nusra Front, offshoot of the American-made Al-Qaeda, stormed the Camp at the same time the Assad regime forces targeted it with explosive barrels.
Human rights sources said that dozens of the Palestinian refugees were killed and around 80 were kidnapped by ISIS, which chopped off the head of a prominent aid worker in the Camp.
