Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman desecrated on Sunday Al-Ibrahimi Mosque in West Bank city of Al-Khalil.
Al-Ibrahimi Mosque is one of the holiest places in Palestine for all Muslims. As part of his election campaign, Lieberman entered the Mosque to prove to the extremist Jews he deserves their votes in the upcoming elections.
The same step was carried out by the leader of the extremist Israeli Jewish Home party Naftali Bennett on Thursday night.
During his time in the Palestinian occupied city, Lieberman’s guards and security services escorted him harassed the Palestinians because of the streets’ closure and the traffic caused by it.
Zionist Jews claim that Al-Ibrahimi Mosque theirs and call it the Cave of the Patriarchs. They partitioned it between Muslims and extremist Jews several decades ago.
On February 25, 1994, the extremist Jewish Israeli settlers Baruch Goldstein opened his automatic fire at worshipers during Al-Fajr (dawn prayer), killed 29 Muslim and injured dozens more.
From time to time, Israeli authorities prevent Muslims from calling for the prayers in through the speakerphones of the Mosque. They also sometimes close it and prevent Muslims from entering for days during Jewish holidays and celebrations.
