Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli Jewish settlers uprooted late on Wednesday over 500 olive tree near Al-Khalil town of Al-Shuyukh, south of West Bank.
Farmers and witnesses said that the sellers descended from the illegal Israeli Metzad settlement near the city of Bethlehem.
Witnesses said that the farms, which were damaged by the settlers, belong to the Al-Ayayda family.
The owners found the damaged trees in the morning while going out to check their land, which is near the Gush Etzion settlement bloc.
Last week, illegal Israeli settlers from the same illegal Israeli settlement of Metzad destroyed over 70 trees near the town of Sair.
Attacks on olive trees have been systamtically carried out by the illegal Israeli settlers in order to force the Palestinians out of their homes and their lands. Then, lands will be ready for settlement expansion.
Olive industry supports the livelihoods of roughly 80,000 families in the occupied West Bank.
