Days of Palestine, West Bank –A military Israeli court in the Palestinian occupied West Bank convicted female Palestinian dancer to six months in prison.
Sources in the court reported that the military court also convicted the 18-year-old Lina Khattab to a 6,000 Shekel fine (around $1,500).
Khattab, who is a student at Al-Najah University, has been known for her peaceful anti-Israeli occupation activities along the occupied West Bank.
The court also instated a three year suspended sentence of Khattab for what it called “participating in a protest in solidarity with Palestinian political prisoners” in front of the Ofer prison.
Israeli forces arrested Khattab in December last year, on charges of throwing stones at Israeli soldiers.
