Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli forces killed on Tuesday afternoon Palestinian protestor, wounded another in West Bank city of Al-Khalil.
As hundreds of Palestinian protestors approached the Israeli checkpoint near the Palestinian refugee camp of Al-Arroub north of Al-Khalil, the Israeli occupation forces opened live fire towards them.
Protestor Imad Jawabreh, 22, was seriously wounded by bullets in the chest and after he was taken by an ambulance, he was announced dead before reaching the hospital.
Palestinian medical sources said that another Palestinian protestor was wounded in the same incident. According to the sources, he sustained light injuries.
The Israeli occupation forces were reported by Israeli media saying that the Palestinian, who was killed, aimed a weapon at them and they acted in self-defence.
Several Palestinian protestors participated the same protest reiterated that none of the protesters had any kind of weapons.
