Several US news outlets interviewed Netanyahu while he was in New York and he repeatedly insisted he would see a Palestinian state only through negotiations.
Palestinian-Israeli peace negotiations have been going on without tangible results for decades.
Netanyahu also put a core condition for any Palestinian state could be announced. “There must be a change in the notion of sovereignty over the land of Palestine,” he said, “there must be an Israeli security existence.”
Meanwhile, Netanyahu said that he will never talk with the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas, which he said it is dedicated to the destruction of the Israeli state.
