The wounded fisherman is now being hospitalised in the main Gaza hospital of Al-Shifa.
Few days ago, the Israeli navy arrested two fishermen, who sailed in a small fishing boat in the same are.
Israeli occupation said they sailed beyond the six-mile limit, but fishermen stressed that the boat they used cannot go deep more than two to three miles in the sea.
It is worth mentioning that today’s attack on the elderly fisherman is the fifth Israeli breach of the ceasefire deal reached between the Palestinian fighters and the Israeli occupation on August 26. It ended 51-day Israeli war against besieged civilians in Gaza.
