Days of Palestine, West Bank –An Israeli settler ran over a Palestinian boy on Wednesday in the West Bank city of Al-Khalil.
Witnesses said that a female Israeli settler ran over the boy Mohamed al-Rajabi, 6, when he was leaving his school heading home.
Al-Rajabi’s uncle said that the boy suffered fraction in the legs and bruises in different areas of his body. “I could not get an exact evaluation for his condition,” he said.
Palestinian paramedics arrived in the scene and transferred the Palestinian boy to the Hadasah Hospital in Jerusalem.
Meanwhile, the settler attempted to flee, but the Palestinian citizens stopped her for a while. A large number of Israeli troops immediately arrived the area and released the settler.
It is worth mentioning that the Israeli occupation soldiers broke into a Palestinian house in the city of Silwad in the centre of the occupied West Bank and kidnapped two Palestinian boys from the courtyard of their house.
There were no clashes in the area to justify the kidnapping; however, the two boys were driven to an investigation centre and then released after probe lasted for hours.
