A Lebanese security source said the rocket was fired from Dheira, three kilometres (two miles) from the border with the Israeli occupation.
The same source noted that Israeli helicopters were seen flying around the border area.
In mid-July, at least nine rockets were fired from Lebanon at the Israeli occupation. Israeli occupation forces retaliated with artillery fire then.
Lebanese military officials said at the time they believed the attacks were carried out by a small Palestinian group in an act of solidarity with Gazan civilians being killed by the Israeli occupation forces brutally for 48 days.
