Days of Palestine, West Bank –Palestinian Authority (PA) security services cracked down a pro-Gaza rally in the West Bank city of Hebron.
Days of Palestine sources said that the PA security services attempted to disperse the rally, but they withdrew after the clashes with the protesters turned fierce.
Thousands of Palestinians attended a rally launched from Al-Hussein Ben Ali Mosque in Hebron. The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas called for the rally.
A number of Palestinian factions, including the National Liberation Movement Fatah and the Popular From for the Liberation of Palestine.
The participants chanted pro-Gaza slogans and raised posters calling for stopping the massive Israeli attacks on people and properties.
After about half an hour, the PA attempted to disperse the rally and clashed with the protesters. Palestinian Red Crescent sources said that 30 suffered light injures. As the participants insisted to carry on, the PA troops withdrew from the area.
