Days of Palestine, London –Israeli occupation forces special units have violently stormed prisons holding Palestinian political prisoners 16 times in the last three weeks.
Inmind, an international activism movement, said that the Israeli forces stormed the prions with tear gas and dogs unleashed on the prisoners in many prisons, including Ofer and Mejiddo prisons.

The movement said that Prisoners’ personal properties have been destroyed or stolen, mattresses and blankets torn apart, large holes drilled in the walls, even the floor tiles uprooted.
Prisoners have been violently attacked by the raiding party, one Palestinian prisoner Mohammed Fouad from Jenin has permanently damaged his hearing due to injuries he suffered in his right ear.
Describing the misery of the prisoners, Inmind said: “Basic prisoners’ rights –all the gains achieved by the prisoners’ movement since the 1970s are being repealed. All family visits are denied and recreation time cancelled.
“Prisoners at Mejiddo have been forbidden from even receiving clothing from family members –often they only have the cloths they were wearing when they were abducted, this edict is causing significant hardship.”
Inminds added: “All TV channels have been blocked except three; two Israeli channels in Hebrew and the Saudi mouthpiece Al-Arabiya.”
