Days of Palestine, Gaza –Hamas military wing Izzidin Al-Qassam announced on Wednesday it targeted the Israeli gas plant in the Mediterranean.
In a statement published on its website, Al-Qassam said that it fired two rockets at the Israeli gas installation about 30 km (19 miles) off the coast of Gaza.
The attack exactly targeted Noa, a gas well owned by Nobel Energy and Delek. It was the first apparent attack of its kind.
An Israeli source said that they did not feel any attack targeted the gas facility, but at the same time, the source refused to deny an attack.
Noa is within range of Al-Qassam rockets, but analysts said that Israelis keen to hide any such news because they are afraid that investors would not be courageous to invest their money in unstable area.
