The occupation forces carried out a massive arrest campaign in the occupied West Bank, at dawn today, which, according to local sources, affected more than 24 Palestinians.
The sources said that the arrest campaign was concentrated among the students of An-Najah National University in Nablus, and among the detainees: Anas Shtayyeh, Ibrahim Abed, Ayoub Dwaikat, Hassan Tuffaha, Hamza Tabanja, Ibrahim Dwaikat, Omar al-Shakhshir, and Ibrahim Shalhoub.
The sources indicated that clashes erupted with the occupation forces in Nablus, where Palestinians confronted them with stones and Molotov cocktails.
In a related context, Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Dheisheh camp and arrested the freed prisoner, Karim Ayyad, his son Bilal Karim Ayyad, the editor Ramiz Al-Lahham and the young man Muhammad Manasra, amid violent confrontations with the young men. The occupation soldiers also arrested Mahdi Omar Ziada from Bethlehem.
A massive campaign of arrests also in Al-Arroub camp, north of Hebron, which included: Muhammad Mahmoud Jawabra, Abdul Majeed Jawabra, Maher Abu Warda, Muhammad Shehadeh, Omar Khamis, Rani Hudeib, Issa Abu Ghazi and Mahmoud Abu Ghazi. Most of them were released after field investigations.
In Hebron, the occupation forces arrested Khuzayma Ghaith from his home in Hebron. They also raided a number of the homes.
In Tulkarm, the occupation forces arrested a student at Al-Khadoori University, Ahmed Jamal Al-Sawy, and Ahmed Hamdan, from the Sidon town, north of the city.
The Israeli occupation forces also stormed Al-Isawiya town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, at dawn today, and arrested the two brothers, Alaa and Omar Musa Abu Ryala, their cousin Rashad Amjad Abu Ryala, and Ahmed Muhammad Hussein Derbas.
