In a first-of-its-kind decision, an Israeli occupation court recognized today, Wednesday, the limited right of Jews to perform prayers in the al-Aqsa Mosque compound, the third holiest site in Islam.

The occupation court said that the presence of Jewish worshipers at the al-Aqsa mosque compound does not constitute a criminal act as long as their prayers remain silent.

The Palestinian Authority (PA) Minister of Religious Affairs Mahmoud al-Habash, slammed the decision as a new war crime to be added to the series of crimes committed by the Israeli occupation’s so-called judicial system against the al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem.
